Beginning next fall, UCSB Athletics will join the West Coast Conference, ushering in an exciting new chapter for Gaucho Athletics. For UCSB Women’s Soccer, this transition will provide the opportunity to compete against some of the strongest programs in the country. As we prepare for this move, we have an opportunity to rally our Gaucho community around the program and ensure our student-athletes have the resources and support they need to compete at the highest level.
To kick off this effort, a generous donor has made a $20,000 seed gift toward our $100,000 fundraising goal for UCSB Women’s Soccer. Our goal is to raise $50,000 by December 31 and an additional $50,000 by the end of April, giving us the resources to support the program as we enter this exciting new chapter in the West Coast Conference.
We need our Gaucho community to help. We invite parents, alumni, friends and supporters to join this effort. Every gift will make a difference in preparing our student-athletes for this next chapter at UC Santa Barbara Athletics.
