The M. Garren Tinney Memorial Fund is an endowment established in loving memory of UCSB alumnus M. Garren Tinney who was passionate about writing. This Fund supports UCSB undergraduate students committed to creative writing but also other genres. This Fund supports the M. Garren Tinney Fellows, M. Garren Tinney Writing Awards, and the M. Garren Tinney Travel Awards administered through the Writing Program at UC Santa Barbara.
